Get Drunk To Extinction

By Zoe Ferguson, 08 February 2011

Forget the 'usual' at your post-work pub-stop, forget the cheap-ass Tuesday movie tickets and forget the evening nap on the bus home. Every Tuesday you can walk among the greats, cheers to history, dance in a silent disco, enjoy live music, acrobatics and more. Yes, more. "But where?" you ask. "At the modern rendition of Jurassic Park of course. Jurassic Lounge." I reply coolly.

That's right, Jurassic Lounge. The Australian Museum is inviting not just young children on school exhibition trips, nor just the old couple up the back, but the entire community to come and enjoy the dinosaur relics on show, as well the extras thrown in.

Every Tuesday you'll be entertained with a fusion of art, science, live music, history, film and drinks. There's a different line up of entertainment every Tuesday, so week after week you can show up and be surprised all over again. Today holds the second eve of such delectable historic adventures, so don't miss out on these creative, collaberative and communal festivities.
