Encasing Sydney for the 17th time, the Biennale entices us into a world of art full of intriguing sights.
Take a free ferry from Circular Quay to Cockatoo Island to see the artworks of 56 artists, enlightening this urban park of an island. Let your feet wander and your eyes be indulged with wonderful artworks and installments to be seen on your island adventure.
If you're strapped for time and can't leave the harbour, visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, another of the major venues of the Biennale, presenting 285 works by 92 international and Australian artists. When you're cultured-out, take a seat at the MCA cafe and get stuck into a Wagyu-beef burger...art and this tasty meal in one day will have you writing 'best day ever' in your diary.
With other venues such as the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Art Galley of NSW, Artspace in Woolloomooloo, the 2010 Biennale really has taken over town. So be a part of it, wander around and enjoy the sights, because with only 47 sleeps left until it ends, there's so little time to see all these wonderful artworks.
