Down a path you’ll be transformed from the mid 1800s to the early 20th century, gazing amongst the world’s best, most influential and visionary artists of the modern era. Down this path your eyes will be in disbelief, wonder and awe. This path is the Path to Abstraction, mind your step and enjoy the ride.
Sydney’s Art Gallery of New South Wales is currently holding an exciting exhibition, showcasing over 150 paintings, drawings and prints, all illustrating the artist’s experimentation and vision with colour and form.
The works are on loan from 59 of the most prestigious art collections in the world including the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Tate Modern and National Gallery of Art, Washington. It’s a remarkable compilation of artists such as Monet, Picasso, Matisse, Kandinsky, Seurat and Mondrian all together for the first time, so definitely do not miss this opportunity to walk amongst the Gods.
