Both time-wise and distance-wise, the Glebe Street Fair is one of Sydney’s longest running annual events. Coinciding with the suburb’s bohemian, chilled-out vibe, the fair’s proceeds are recycled back into local creative projects.
This year’s fair has a ‘beat’ theme, so expect to groove to roving drummers or energetic dance circles along Glebe Point Road’s kilometre-long stretch. Kym Campbell, who’s been likened to a female Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz, will be topping the bill on the main stage. They'll be joined by Nick Rheinberger, magician Zorthan the Great, Pat Capocci, Jonathan Lee Jones, A Cat Named Kesey, Adam Fisher, Ali Carter and the African rhythms of Keyim Ba.
Will stalls offering local artists and designers’ products and wares – great for unique gifts and accessories that make heads turn. For the kids there’ll be fairy floss, homemade lemonade, percussion activities, face painting and storytelling at Glebe Public School.
Happening on Sunday 20 November 10am-7pm don't miss this annual fair of fun, frivolity and embodiment of Summer's free-spirit festivities.
