Between shows at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week I dropped into The Grand Social studios to catch up with Melbourne’s favourite husband and wife team, and the creative talent behind much-loved label, Limedrop. Needless to say their SS11 collection was a testament to their growing confidence and strong design focus. With digital prints of their own making (one taken from a dreamy mountain/lake scene, the other a celebration of Indian Holi Day paint splashing festival) and tailored blazers and trousers for boys and girls, Limedrop’s summer is easy to wear, practical and yet still fashion friendly.
I had a quick chat to one half of the team, Nathan Price, about his adopted home-town, Melbourne…
