Piccolo is the ideal local, whether for coffee by day or something a bit harder by night. It has that home away from home feeling, where everyone knows each other’s names and the staff really make an effort because they actually care if you come back.

Every night from 4-8pm you can have an array of drinks for under $5. It’s the happiest happy hour I have ever seen. Their trademark shot, The Piccolo, is a delicious pick me up that you have to try. One layer of Baileys topped with a small nip of coffee makes for a creamy, nutty treat and for only $1 during happy hour, you can’t say no. There’s also a selection of cute and quick snacks including Coco Pops and toasted sandwiches and they all range between $3-$6.

If you’re finding this all too hard to believe you’d better see it for yourself and since it's open until 1am every day there's plenty of time to get yourself to Piccolo.
