Get Cosy In One Of The Rocks’ Favourite Icon

By Zoe Ferguson, 15 June 2010

Take a stroll down George Street, pop into the MCA, wander around The Rocks and let your feet lead you into a quaint café, simply called The Rocks Café.

With beautiful cakes and wine bottles teasing you through the glass window, your mouth instantly starts salivating, and your legs desire the comfort of the warm booths inside.

It’s a gorgeous little pit-stop, especially during the colder months, when you want to wrap your hands around a hot coffee, or nibble on some naughty cake. It’s welcoming and always hospitable, with booths downstairs and a long couch and chairs upstairs, and fireplaces with decorative ornaments as well.

The menu is home-styled with a bit of flair, with home-made croissants, soups, grazing plates and grilled lamb koffta, there’s something for every level of hunger.

On a warm day enjoy the sun and sit outside, watching passersby and the MCA opposite you. No matter the weather, The Rocks Café is always a friendly and satisfying visit.
