If you’ve been searching for a restaurant and bar that offers you the same warmth, style and quality you would put into your own dining room, then welcome to an evening experience pivoted on comfort and a delight to the palette.
Establishment owner Michael Fantuz has created restaurant Table for 20 - a sensual dining experience whose intimacy stems from a focus on communal fun characterized by romantic Italian flair. Being tired of establishments without atmosphere, heart and soul, Fantuz has concocted the perfect recipe that proves to be the tastiest Sydney has tasted in a long time.
With a daily inspiration to recreate a dinner party, Table for 20 sits two tables of 20, serving up a three course meal for one and all in a communal, fresh and lively atmosphere. Originating in his own living room, Fantuz cooked up a menu for ten people to cheers to, and now that number has more than doubled, he’s humbled at the shared love of great food, great wine with a large group of people. With his Italian blood and passion for homely intimacy, Fantuz has re-romanced the Sydney dining scene.
Now your stomachs are full with a delicious meal, let your feet wander upstairs where you’ll find a mismatched living room full of antique furniture, including Victorian parlour lounges and round-armed deco armchairs to sink into. With black and white poster-plastered bar and walls, a rogue white piano and low flickering candles softly illuminating this fantastic little bar. Part of Fantuz’s Venetian philosophy is great food and delicious beverages, reflected in evening specials: Wednesdays have a $15 roast with a glass of red, and Thursdays 6pm-9pm offers a free food platter with every drink purchase.
Sticky’s comfy sofas, ambient lighting and live acoustic sounds ooze sophistication and an addictive combination promising your desire to get sticky again soon.
