How did you get into design?

It's always been something that interests and inspires me. I previously worked for Mic Eaton, designer of Material Boy and under his creative direction I learned the ropes.

... your favourite place to shop in Melbourne?

I don't really go shopping for clothes... But there are heaps of great stores in Melbourne! Left, Nom D, Somewhere, Alice Euphemia, just to name a few. 

... the trend to watch for winter?

Soft wools and linens and heavy silks in dreamy earthy colours. 

... your favourite place to eat in Melbourne?

Auction Rooms.

Fandangos.

... a great night out in Melbourne for out-of-towners?

I love grungy little bars, so maybe Prudence and then the Rooftop bar is always good to take people from out of town??

there are so many great galleries in melbourne. i think 1000 Pound Bend is a pretty amazing space. 

... your pick of rising artists in Melbourne?  

 Tin and Ed are doing some great stuff. Amiel Courtin-Wilson is an amazing film maker, his last project was the film bastardy.
