George’s Table Tennis Club is a pugnacious pop up store offering the gentlemen of Melbourne a one room table tennis club for the month of October. Online clothier Pugnacious George has set up shop in Melbourne’s iconic Nicholas building in a room that was formally home to RJ Harvey’s Tailoring Supplies, a 30 year institution to the city’s tailors. George has filled the room with his signature slim fit shirts, a range of his slim but not too skinny ties and assortment of gentlemanly essentials. No table tennis club is complete without the centre piece, the table tennis table and astroturf hijacked from Pugnacious George’s boardroom.
Whether you prefer your ping pong as a post work table tennis duel, a leisurely lunch time match of wiff-waff or a cheeky coffee break with George, consider this a one room Table Tennis Fight Club. If you have not been acquainted with the Nicholas building, this is the perfect excuse this October, choose your lift (if you opt for the middle lift you will need to open the door, they are not automatic) and if this is your first time at George’s Table Tennis Club, you have to play. Game on…
The store will be open Monday 3rd of October and close the Friday 28th October.
Monday to Friday - 11 to 6
Saturday - 11 to 4
