After showcasing the humble knitted beanie at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, Karla Spetic’s cranial creation is about to hit the big time at Alice Sprints Beanie Festival this weekend. Adorning a collection inspired by Australia’s Red Centre, Karla Spetic’s beanie has been met with unanimous acclaim by headwear enthusiasts the country over. Hand made with love and affection, the Karla Spetic beanie will have it’s fifteen minutes of fame at the centre of Alice Springs’ upcoming Beanie Festival. The beanie will be for sale through silent auction at the festival, with five in total (each in a different desert shade) up for grabs.
