I’m going to pretend for a moment that I haven’t seen After The Apple’s pink suede handbag with black spots and tassel features. OK, so I’m pretending I’ve never laid eyes on this handbag. You with me? Now, I’m going to envisage my perfect handbag…. It’s pale pink… Oh wait there’s some black spots on it… Annnnndddddd… Some tassels. Wow, see what happened there?
Now you try. Do you see a crocodile-look square purse with knotted handles? A black and white spotted clutch with a super long strap? An oversized brown hobo with lattice-esque detailing? Or is it a triangular, geometric style tote? Wherever your wildest handbag fantasies take you, I have little doubt that you’ll end up at the same place as me- nose to nose with Australian label After The Apple.
With a designer who once imagined and bought to life bags for Mimco, the foundations for After The Apple’s unique brand are obvious. However, and dare I say it, Mimco seems but a spot on the flap of an After The Apple bag, so well crafted and perfectly whimsical are the designs. The perfect mix of statement and classism , there’s an After The Apple handbag for every imagination.
